Togetherness

Had a different picture posted for today and then remembered this one from the archives which seemed more appropriate. For those who haven't seen it already, this is Lucky & Oliver, two of the sweetest kitties we ever had the privilege of fostering. They continue to be extremely attached to one another, according to their new owners, and are just as loving with people as they are with each other.

(Just for you, George: I added the frame, since you're *almost* a kitty convert!) ;-)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Cleo displays her built-in birthday noisemaker. All she needs to complete her look is a funny hat and some balloons!

(Best viewed at largest size.)

I seem to have a knack for capturing kitty tongues in odd poses...

Mom and daughter angle for a better view. ;-)

Lady Guinevere reminds me of Miss Petunia with her impish expression and daintiness.

Her brother, Sir Lancelot, was adopted yesterday, as was Snow White.

Jack and Lizzy take a break from their International Studies.

Meet Lizzy, as in Elizabeth Swann. She's about 6 weeks old and lives with 14 other cats and kittens of every size and age imaginable in one of our rescue group's foster homes.

I did a photo shoot there yesterday and am worn out! Can't imagine keeping up with this many cats on a daily basis -- I think I'd go mad!

Isn't she a cutie? I'll show you her brother Jack -- as in Captain Jack Sparrow -- tomorrow. :-)

Pudgie Pyewacket does The Twist. ;-)

Sir Lancelot and Lady Guinevere appear to be from another era. Despite the overexposed areas in this, I'm happy with the overall tone of the photo.

Three of our five babies were adopted today (yesterday by the time you read this) -- Pudgie Pyewacket went to one home and Miss Maddie and Lady Guinevere went together to another. We're down to seven cats & kittens now: Sir Lancelot and Audrey Fuzzburn; Snow White and her one dwarf Bashful; Cleopatra and her mother (as yet unnamed); and Mama-San, the Snowshoe Siamese mother of our first two batches of kittens.

Posting this early as we're both very worn out from the ER visit with Daisy, who's doing much better. :-)

Lady Guinevere has an admirer in Pudgie Pyewacket... of course, part of the attraction is the wet cat food covering her nose, mouth, chin and cheeks. She may be the daintiest one of the group but her table manners could stand some improvement. ;-)
